Why is China the best country to visit?

The reason why I would like to visit China is mainly because in the last 30 years it has radically transformed its lifestyle. With a fundamental change in the economy that has apparently been thought for the material reality of the country, it has managed to lift nearly 500 million people out of poverty and has positioned itself as one of the most prosperous economies. That is why it provides a unique opportunity to observe the accelerated progress and cultural changes that may arise from an inevitable westernization of Chinese culture.
I have tried to find out about the Chinese reality and I have found serious contradictions between what we usually believe about the country and what they themselves say about it and I have dealt with constant misinformation from the West that tries to demonize, not only its history linked to Marxism and Maoism, but their own culture.
I would not like to live there due to the language barrier, in addition to the fact that the country has a very high demand, typical of the Asian culture, which I must admit is of no benefit to my mental health.
 I am interested in knowing a culture so different from mine and of which I know very little despite having thousands of years of history and wisdom. Definitely going to China can change the way you see your life.
